The decision to purchase a medical practice is a major turning point in your life. You can rely on our experienced team of professionals to assist you in finding the perfect medical practice for your specific needs.
1. Non-Disclosure of Confidential Information Agreement
The first step necessary to review the appraisal for any of our listings is to sign our Non-Disclosure of Confidential Information Agreement. Medical practice transitions are highly confidential and require that each prospective buyer keep all practice information confidential, including the seller’s name and location. After you have signed our confidentiality agreement, we can supply you with a professional valuation for any of our practice listings. We can also provide additional information such as reports, equipment lists, and other pertinent practice information.
2. Buyer Profile
We also offer a Buyer Profile for you to complete to assist us in finding the perfect practice for you. By answering a few questions, we can better understand your goals, expedite the process, and notify you when new opportunities become available. We also provide your completed Buyer Profile to the Seller as a way of introduction.
3. Professional Representation
Our specialized team will assist you in every stage of the buying process, however, Texas Practice Sales legally represents the Seller in all of our practice transitions. We highly encourage all of our Buyers to seek their own independent representation. A conflict of interest can arise when the same professional attempts to represent both the Seller and the Buyer.
4. Prequalification for Financing
Before you begin the search for your ideal medical practice, we suggest that you obtain pre-qualification with a specialized lender to determine your individual loan qualifications. This knowledge will assist you when you are ready to make an offer on a practice, as well as expedite the loan process after a Seller has accepted your offer.
5. On-Site Visits
After you have thoroughly reviewed the appraisal and you are seriously interested in one of our practice listings, we will arrange for you to meet the Seller. This visit allows you to meet privately with the Doctor without interruption as well as see the facility and equipment. At this time, we also encourage you to ask any questions you may have regarding the practice systems and philosophies. We request during your visit that you direct all questions regarding purchase price towards us so that you maintain the goodwill between you and the seller.
